WHAT TO DO?
The small collections and special objects aim to show how, in our immediate surroundings and everyday life, and therefore in the nature closer or futher from us, there is a world that deserves our careful and respectful attention because it is not only alive, but also preserves life.
It is a curious and complex world that needs to be understood in all its richness and diversity.
The different natural elements present here are explored from the macro to the micro and back again.
The tour is guided and includes an initial introduction by the educator before the play phase.
The chamber of wonders engages adults and children together and takes place without the use of shoes!

Tickets for La camera delle meraviglie activity of October will be available from Tuesday 30th September at 10 am.
WHAT IS IT?
The different natural elements present can be explored first with attentive eyes, then with delicate hands, refined noses and sensitive ears, to discover their qualities and differences, until you enter them with the help of extensions that allow you to sink your gaze and thoughts into what is normally unseen.
The multiplication of visions, the reversal of small and large, the immersion in extensions, allow the exploration of the chosen elements along different lines, restoring the complexity of natural matter and offering images that are not only varied, but sometimes even unpredictable.
At the same time, the game of extensions allows you to enter “minimum landscapes” that are not normally visible. The very concept of landscape, seen as a panorama or large expanse, as in the most common sense, also concretely and provocatively becomes something that contains a specific identity. Unpublished observations and curious questions can arise from it, around the natural world, its subjects, those who live in it and ourselves, in a return of glances and questions ranging from the affective-relational to the descriptive-scientific.
The installation is completed by themed books and some childhood biographies of great nature enthusiasts.
An invitation to keep your eyes and heart open, to learn more about Nature in its extraordinary beauty and incredible intelligence. And, from here, fall in love with it.
The installation is co-designed with Monica Guerra, pedagogist, professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “Riccardo Massa” of the University of Milan-Bicocca.
The design of the structure is by architects Lula Ferrari and Lola Ottolini, who interpreted this chamber of wonders in a contemporary key.
