MUBA proposes activities organized at fixed hours of entry and a limited number shift of 75 minutes, from Tuesday to Friday at 5pm, weekend and school holidays from 10am last entrance at 5pm. MUBA has not a permanent regular exhibition to visit.
This division in shifts allows MUBA’s staff to manage the visitors’ flow, to avoid overcrowding and to offer a pleasant experience.
MUBA offers different areas of activity:
EXHIBITION SPACE: that hosts interactive temporary exhibitions for children from 2 to 6 years old.
REMIDA MILANO: center of sensory testing for children from 2 to 11 years old.
THEMATIC WORKSHOPS: different activities that alternate during the year to enrich the schedule. They are hosted in REMIDA MILANO space that suspends regular programming for the occasion.
The museum activities require an accompanied entrance.
The unaccompanied minors and the adults alone, with no children, will not be admitted at any activity.
We strongly suggest you to buy online your tickets in advance to avoid queues and possible sold-outs especially during the weekends.
It’s not possible to reserve tickets by phone or e-mail.

Garden of Rotonda di via Besana:
The museum is surrounded by a public garden with a playground area where kids and adults can have fun and relax after having participated at MUBA’s activities.

At the bookshop Rotonda Corraini you will find books, toys and gadgets suitable for children of all ages to bring with you a memory of your visit.
Corraini Edizioni's publishing work ranges between design, art and illustration, often blurring the boundaries between the different disciplines. At Rotonda Corraini you can find MUBA merchandising.

Inside the museum you can find Rotonda Bistro where it’s possible to taste local food (zero food miles) cooked in the kitchen, drink a cappuccino or an aperitivo surrounded by the garden.
The Bistro has a kids menù that we’ll complete your experience.
The management is entrusted to an external company.

The museum is just inside the historical center of Milan “Cerchia dei Bastioni”, right after a Congestion Charge area “Area C” access.
Parking spaces (blu stripes) are nearby, pay from 8:00 to 24:00, everyday.
There are also many garages nearby (via Fontana, Viale Monte Nero, Via San Barnaba, Via Pietro Micca).
With car-sharing the entrance in the Area C and parking are free.
