Palazzo delle Scintille - A point of reference for children and families

MUBA cooperates with CityLife at the creation of Palazzo delle Scintille, the largest cultural centre in Europe destined to children, which will soon be built in Milan.
Palazzo delle Scintille will rise from the recovering of the former Pavilion 3 of the Milan Fiera (ex Sports Court), and will preserve its best architectural features.
At the heart of the project lies the deeply-felt need to provide spaces and opportunities for children and teenagers in Milan.
One of the largest children cultural centers in Europe for size and characteristics, Palazzo delle Scintille will host highly significant cultural initiatives for children.
Palazzo delle Scintille will benefit from the experience of Fondazione MUBA and from the inspiration provided by the best activities in the field of informal education in Italy and abroad.
The Palace will host educational activities that will foster learning through play and first-hand experience, as well as promoting curiosity and creativity thanks to a highly stimulating environment.
At Palazzo delle Scintille, local children and families will find hands-on exhibitions (designed and organized in tune with MUBA tradition), an area destined to intercultural education (with an exhibition and workshops), fully equipped classrooms for creative workshops on sound, images and materials, an auditorium and a library for children and young adults.
