MANI IN ACQUA!

As during summer 2008, a free-entrance MUBA activity will be available at
Vicolungo Outlets on the weekends of June and July.
Big pools full of water, a great atelier packed with objects, fishing tools and plenty of creativity. These are the ingredients of HANDS IN THE WATER!, at
Vicolungo on June 21st and 28th, and on July 4th-5th, 11th-12th, 18th-19th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Children, accompanied by staff members, will be invited to enter a large atelier where they will find different objects, including fishing rods, nets, small boats. They will choose whichever object they prefer, then they will move to the big pools area.
The fishing pool, for instance, hides different objects made of different materials; as a result, they may be found on the bottom of the pool, on the surface, or floating on the water. Children will have fun fishing them and guessing which material they are made of: rubber or wood? Plastic or paper? Cotton or metal?
In another pool, children will have the chance to experience the reactions displayed by different materials when they meet water: do they float, do they change colour, do they move closer or further from us?
In a third pool, each child will have a small boat. By blowing them, each boat will start its own journey across a sea full of other boats, but they will have to reach their own “harbour”. How will they manage?
