The Foundation
MUBA Foundation was born in February 2007 in order to ensure a more stable and permanent development of the mission that MUBA has been pursuing for over ten years, having had an associative structure at first and a cooperative one in a second time. This mission is the promotion and spread of cultural and educational activities dedicated to childhood, which aim to favor creative thinking. The Foundation will grant MUBA's activity stronger institutional and juridical relevance. The members of the foundation have brought and will continue to bring the know how and resources which are necessary to continuously promote important projects. This new structure will therefore grant MUBA the possibility and means needed to develop activities that may offer an answer the enormously wide demand for innovative cultural proposals dedicated to children.
Thanks to the Foundation and in particular to the entry of new members, MUBA will gather around itself a core of subjects that believe and support actions towards the development of children's creativity.
Individuals and firms that will join the Foundation will be welcomed to start a long lasting cooperation that will grant them more intense participation and content, allowing them to take part in strategies definition and implementation and therefore giving them the chance to improve our society and make it better.
As of now, exhibitions have been “ambassadors” of the new culture and during the past 10 years they have built a first net. What may be done in future is to create a true, positive and new culture of informal education. MUBA and its partners can really be leader in this process!
